When looking at the statistics provided by jetpack/wordpress, the pages generated by photo-gallery show up as “#<number> (Title being loaded)”. I can neither look at detailed statistics nor open the page directly. Is there a way to optimize the integration with the statistics module (or whatever this might be called in wordpress-terms)?
    Kind regards,
    Alexander

Will you please let us know what do you mean by saying “to optimize the integration with the statistics module”.

    Thanks!

    Hi Suzie,

Thanks for your reply and sorry for not being clear enough.
The main problems I’m faced with are those two:
The galleries show up as numbers, not speaking names, in the WordPress statistics. Eg. #46478 instead of a name given by me in the gallery’s properties. The latter would allow me to see immediately which one of our galleries are popular.
When I click on the link in the statistics view, I’m not taken to the gallery, as it would happen when clicking on the link of a post. If I remember correctly, the detailed statistics link is not available either.

It would be nice, if the galleries and gallery groups would behave like posts or pages in the statistics generated by WordPress. Maybe other users use different statistics or tracking plugins and do not face these problems?

Kind regards, happy Easter and stay well!

    Dear @alex4711,
    Thank you for the details.

We registered the gallery/gallery group pages as a custom post.
we will need to have a thorough look to understand how the problem is related to statistics from jetpack.
