Gallery Pictures Not Clickable

Hello,

WP Newbie here, I am having trouble getting the custom link to be clickable in my gallery. I created a gallery, and inserted a url into the “Link URL” field. However, in the preview page, the pictures are not clickable.

I then changed the “Link To” option for the Gallery, tried all of the options(None, Media File, Attachment Page) and none of them will take the clicker to the url I’ve set. Is there something obvious I am not configuring?

I can share the DOM rendering of the element if needed, the page is in draft mode so there’s not a link I can share to show the problem. If there’s way to sow the problem, I am happy to provide it.

There’s a custom theme configured by Genesis and here’s the list of relevant plugins that could interfere with images:
