Gallery seems to be broken

I am trying out this theme on a test site…

Created a few test posts including 1-2 galleries…

For the images and galleries, when I click on the image, a window will appear. At the bottom, i can scroll through the images but it seems to include photos that is not part of the gallery.

I switched to the twenty-eleven theme and the gallery works.

also… is it possible to change the width?
