Gallery shortcode for reduced size image? (For FancBox)

Is there a way to make gallery image to link to reduced size image? More specifically, to large (1024, 1024), instead to an original full-size image?

Currently, the gallery will point to any size image, so it can create a problem with a large number of images, say 10 megapixels – it downloads forever.
