Gallery shortcode placeholder doesn't appear in visual editor

  • Hi,

    When I insert a gallery into a visual editor, I can’t see the gallery placeholder in visual editor. If I switch over to “Text” editor, the [gallery] shortcode is there, but there is still no gallery placeholder when I switch back to “Visual” editor (only an empty line).

    Does anyone else experience the same issue?

    (I’m testing on Windows using XAMPP.)
