gallery slider images fall out of order

I’m using Fukasawa to build a photo portfolio for a client. The order of the images is critical. I’ve figured out how to use your workaround, to upload fresh copies of each image in order into each post page. In my 6th attempt to get the photos to be in the correct order, I’ve found that a particular photo will fall out of the order and will appear first, and I’m trying to figure out why. I have a guess, that if a photo is even just one pixel less wide than the others, it will fall to the beginning of the series. Please advise. Also, hopefully in a future release the gallery slider will be built not with your workaround method but perhaps built off the gallery functionality in WordPress.

This theme is billed as “for photographers” but, for photographers, it’s incredibly important that (1) images can be reorganized, (2) new copies of images can be uploaded to replace old ones without breaking their order in the slider, and that (3) image uploads can be used in multiple collections at the same time without having to be uploaded anew onto each post page. None of these things are possible the way this slider is built. A sincere thanks — otherwise it’s a great theme.
