• Hi folks,

I’m currently using the gallery feature in WordPress with a couple of plugins – WP Canvas – gallery (to have the thumnbails appear in a masonry format) and Simple Lightbox (to make the thumbnails open into a, well, simple lightbox and allow slideshow functionality).

What I’m hoping to do is change this so that one image displays by itself (as opposed to a lightbox over the page) and you use navigation (like a simple slideshow / slider) – but ALSO have the option to “view all thumbnails”; clicking this will take you to what essentially looks like my current home page (masonry style thumbnails) and clicking one will take you to that relevant image in my new simple slideshow.

Any thoughts with this? My WordPress coding skills have slipped away from me as my career has shifted but I think this is possible, I just can’t figure the way to do it / what plugins to use…

    Thanks!

    MC
