Gallery slow

Hi All,

I’m having problems with large galleries. Take this for instance:

It takes about 2 minutes to load. I think the reason is that the thumbnails in the filmstrip are not really resized (may be some settings in admin) and secondly the bigger issue is that loading the filmstrip thumbnails blocks showing the main image.

Can you please suggest how to solve this issue?
