• I know this topic has been covered but I still don’t have an answer that applies to my problem.

Certain images just will not upload properly. I get the Full Size (0 x 0) message and the HTTP error.

I have tried resizing images in photoshop, dropping the MB of the image lowering the DPI and even making them a tiny image but still they will not upload.

Yet other images that are much larger will still upload it is driving me mad!! Please help!

  • What format is the image? I’ve heard of the problem, but useally with larger images (those greater than 1024×768).

Also, what uploader are you using? The funky java one or the bog standard, one at a time, HTML one? May be worth trying the HTML one if you haven’t done so.

    Thanks.

For anyone who has been stuck with this error I think I may have found a couple of issues that cause this error.

    1. Check the actual pixel size of the image, huge images will not upload correctly even if compressed to a small file.

    2. Check the info on the file. It seems that with title, subject, tags, etc in the file wordpress does not like it. Clearing this information in the images I was trying to upload solved the problem.
