gallery thumbnails show on some computers, not others

bump

ok, it’s the computer – because i’ve installed the nextgen plugin and it’s doing the same thing – thumbnails are x-ed out but if I click on the thumbnail it shows the full picture.

the only real difference between my desktop pc (the one that doesn’t show thumbs) and my laptop (which does show thumbs) is that my desktop is 64 bit.

Thoughts?

…doesn’t appear to exist, so it’s giving a 404 not found.

I can only imagine that the thumbnails did exist at one time, so they’re cached on the one PC, but not the other.

so different issues:

Nextgen didn’t process the thumbs correctly (the thumbs directory was empty)

and now the thumbs are working for the wp-gallery, but prior to them working, they were in the correct place and you could view them out of the directory (through ftp)
