• Hi
With [ nggallery id=X ] on a page, clicking the thumbnails opens a new page with the media file in it, instead of displaying the nggallery overlay and its navigation thumbs. This problem started a while ago, even before upgrading WP from 2.9 to 3.0 and I cannot remember when.
Is there anything I can check to get nggallery working properly again?
    Using ngg 1.9.3

I tried upgrading to 2.0.33 but the results were disastrous so I switched back to 1.9.3

    Thanks for any help

@yanay – We have seen this issue occur with different versions and different conflicts … the best we can suggest from what you are describing is to try the next (beta) release and thoroughly test your existing plugins/theme to see if one (or more?) are causing this conflict.

If we know where the conflicts are then we have a much better chance at sorting out what might be the root causes.

    Thanks
Can you point me to any resource where this problem was described using 1.9.3?
I searched around but could not get a relevant result.

I’ve had terrifying results with my 2+ upgrade, so I probably won’t give it the beta try.

@yanay – We only actively support the current version of NextGEN Gallery and would do our best to help you with our latest version.

The only thing that comes to mind is still a possible conflict with another plugin, especially any that may be dealing with Lightbox effects.
