Gallery widget stacks all items

Hi, I’ve used the gallery widget to create a small portfolio with 8 items, spread over 3 columns. This gallery widget is placed into a container/cover block with 1 column (also tried it outside a container/cover block).

All the items within each of the 3 columns are however stacked on each other. I can’t seem to fix this within the block settings and there are also no errors on the Chrome devtools console.
These items are also positioned above another container block which should be below the gallery on that page.

Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?
