Games Played

  • Sportspress installed with the Basketball module.

    1st issue: 2 games into a new basketball season. The player in this link https://www.wildcatworld.com/player/davion-mintz/ has played in both games but did not start. Games Played under Statistics shows “0” games played. For each of those games, there are only two options for Player’s status under Boxscore: Starting Lineup and Bench. I’m assuming that the number of Games Played is showing “0” because, according to the boxscore, the player was on the bench. Shouldn’t I see other statuses under boxscore, i.e. attended, played?

    2nd issue: I manually edited the number of games played for another non-starter that did start 1 game: https://www.wildcatworld.com/player/camron-fletcher/. MPG, RPG, APG, SPG, BPG, PPG are reflected as if he only played 1 game and not 2 games.

    3rd issue: This player has started both games: https://www.wildcatworld.com/player/brandon-boston-jr/. Everything is correct as far as averages go with the exception of MPG. It’s showing a total as opposed to an average. I’ve verified that statistic type is average.

    Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry for the delay.

    Please kindly open new topics for each of the new issues, usually topics with multiple issues get too long and confusing.

    Regarding #1, did you add the substitution time for them? Maybe that’s the issue. If they don’t have substitution time then they won’t have games played for them.

    Adding substitute time is not an option for me. My only options are “Starting Lineup” and “Bench.”

    As a temporary work around, I’m setting the status of all players to “Starting Limeup” and hiding the “Games Started” stat.
