    Hi!

I am using Nirvana and used the theme option to get rid of the header and the top menu. It works great on the desk version (on computers, notebooks, etc): The main menu is the top of the site. But the mobile version is having a bit of a trouble.

As can be seen on this picture, there is a gap between the top of the screen and the main menu. It’s a big gap. This happens everywhere (post, pages, etc) except the homepage.

What can I do to solve it?

Thanks in advance for the answers and the time.

  • Hey there universal1914,

    How are you doing today?

I’m not sure why that happens but this can definitely be fixed with some custom CSS and using media queries to target styles only on smaller resolutions.

Would you mind posting link to your site where I can see this so I can try to help with some CSS?

    Cheers,
    Bojan

    Hi, Bojan!

    Thanks for your kind reply.

My site (www.literal.cl) is currently under construction, so it has a “Coming soon” homepage now. I guess this will prevent you from obtaining the info you need to write the necessary CSS for my case.

Is there any way I can write to you privately, so as to give you some login credentials?

    Hey again,

Yes I’m not being able to help you out with coming soon page activated. By forum rules we’re not allowed to take this out of the forum, you can read more about forum rules here: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome.

So the best way to do this would be if you could disable coming soon page and let me know and I’ll try to respond as soon as possible.

    Best regards,
    Bojan

    Hi, Bojan

Thanks a lot for your answer.

I am going to disable the Coming soon page in a couple of days, when I finish the arrangement of the site. I have decided to complete the site, make it public, and then deal with the mobile version. At that time your help will be deeply appreciated!

Thanks again for your time and interest.

    Hey again,

Sounds good, please let me know when you make your site public and if you want me to take a look ??

    Best regards,

    Hey, Bojan

The site is available for all public to see now. We are running on a beta mode, so there are tons of things to fix yet. The most important is the one we were talking about 1 month ago. I would really appreciate your kind help with this.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey again Universal1914,

The space is actually your slider, see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/IQ1ilfi1Ra.

Is this the issue or am I missing something?

    Best regards,
    Bojan

    Hi, there, again ??

Nop, that was not the issue. But it has been resolved, already.

I figured it out a little bit before that screenshot was taken, apparently.

The theme has the option to force header image to be responsive. I checked that box and the gap between the menu ans the top of the page disappeared. It was as simple as that, but I had not realized until some hours after my last reply here.

Since I had no image on header, I had paid no attention to that check box. It is under “Header Settings”, for those who may have the same issue in the future.

Thanks, Bojan, anyway, for your time and interest.

    Cheers!
