There is a big gap of space underneath the Getwid slider on the home page, about 400-600px tall.

It is definitely the slider and not a spacer or other block, because when I convert the slider to Recent Posts the gap goes away. (And when I use Inspect Element it says it is the Getwid slider, though the margins/padding are only ~20 px total).

I have confirmed that there is no extra space being added to the template. I can also confirm that the posts all have a hero image and an excerpt (so it’s isn’t a placeholder for missing content). I updated plugins and core. Not sure what to try next.

Love the plugin and have been recommending it often. Thanks for your help.

@futureisfiction your third post/slide has huge vertical featured image. And the height of the slider is equal to this slide.

Hi! Thanks for your reply. I have cropped that image down, and the gap remains. Also, when I first moved the site over, before I had that post with the taller image, the gap was there.

Happy to make changes or test various things if you think it will help.

    Hi @futureisfiction,
Could you try to disable lazy load option via Jetpack and check if the gap is gone?
If it is not helpful I’d ask to submit a request to our support team for further investigation. Thanks.
