Gapingvoid-type widget creation.

If I’ve missed a thread along these lines, I apologise – I can’t seem to find anything close enough.

Does anyone know how to develop a widget similar to that Gapingvoid one? If I, for example, have a daily comic that I want widgetised like that, how easy is it, and how does one go about doing it.

If someone is willing to help me create one, I’d be more-than-happy to have a URL-plug or something.

Any help would be great actually.
