Garbage Characters appear in Post but not on Admin Page

  • I don’t see that character set issue on any other part of your site. I see a lot of unnecessary tag duplication in that same block of text in the source code though, as well as the extra byte code characters at the non breaking spaces.

    Did you happen to copy that section of text from another file or external editor and then paste it directly into the WordPress editor?

    We tried multiple ways, including typing in directly, & also copy/paste from Word. Not sure what changed, but seems OK today.
