Gas Limit Settings

  • The only way I’ve been able to complete a purchase on BSC using Metamask is to increase the Gas Limit to 100,000 from the 21,000 default.

    I assume this is do to the amount of information being written to the blockchain being different now than at the time you developed this plugin…

    Is there a way to edit this gas limit default setting in the plugin codebase? I looked through all the settings and didn’t see a way to edit this on the front end.

  • Which BSC coin/token is the gas not enough for? BNB or another token? For BNB transfers the gas price/limit is automatically calculated by Metamask. BEP20 transfers MCC adds the gas price/limit for….

    The token I’ve been testing with is $CAKE.

    Something must have changed because today the gas price defaults to 20 and the gas limit defaults to 450,000 when I pay.

    The transaction is going through now, but the green check mark does not show up to verify the transaction with MCC.

    I see several completed cake purchases, and no errors on your end regarding the completed payment.

    Could you give us an example of an MCC payment ID that didn’t work automatically?

    MyCryptoCheckout payment ID: 230533
    MyCryptoCheckout payment ID: 230540
    MyCryptoCheckout payment ID: 230505

    All three of these didn’t work automatically, but I’m leaning towards this being an issue with congestion on the BSC and gas fees needing to be higher to get transactions through.

    I have updated the plugin to Version 2.93 and I will do another test.
