    If I change the gateway settings to activate Stripe payments, it seems to save the settings but the option to pay with stripe is not showing in the POS. Is there something else that needs to be done to change the payment options?

    A quick clearing of data and force sync should resolve the issue.

    When you make any major settings change to the POS, such as adding a new payment gateway. We’d recommend you perform a Force Sync of the POS application. This will make sure the latest settings are updated in the POS application.

    To make the POS run smooth and fast on web browsers and across all mobile devices with different data connection speeds, we temporarily store data in the browser. As a result, any major changes to settings, clearing this temporary data storage and Forcing a Sync will make sure those changes are updated.

    For performing that task, it’s quick and easy.

    Follow these steps.

    Click, View POS
    Click upper left menu to open
    Scroll down to Support option, click
    Scroll down to the bottom of Support page,
    Under option Cached data, click Clear

    The Data will clear

    Final step, on each setting option. Click Force Sync. Once each item is sync’d
    Click upper left menu to View POS

    You should now be all set. The POS is running the latest settings. Stripe should show under the payment option tiles

    If the settings don’t update and Stripe option is still not showing as a payment option, please feel free to create a support ticket in the POS, under the Support page. This will include a log which we can review and provide additional support and troubleshooting.
