Hi, i just installed the plugin and the staging stopped at 35%, and showing: failed, gateway timeout. I tried to do it again and now seems that it can′t even start, so at 0% it showed the same error message again.

Actually I am using this plugin because I have tried to create a staging site from my Host′s end, but I was told that the databases are too big, and I will have to upload them via SSH using PuTTY. I wonder if the plugin can′t make the staging site also because of the same reason? I noticed the option of not cloning all database, I have one that is particularly big, the option database (1 GB), I wonder if making the stage without this database would still be worthly.

My website is https, dont know if that is relevant at all.

Thank you so much!If I can create the staging with this plugin it will be awesome, as I dont know much about programming and websites, so doing it through SSH is a bit scary for me.

Hi Rene, thank you for your reply. I haven′t try the beta version yet. I just figured that now I cannot add any image (Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/…/htdocs/clickandbuilds/WordPress/mysite/wp-admin/includes/post.php), post nor online shop order (Error 400) could be placed (I use woocommerce).

I have uninstalled the plugin but still didnt work.

What could I do to fix it? Would the beta version likely to cause the same problem? Thanks

When you say you uninstalled the plugin it means the upload error is not caused by WP Staging. As Wp Staging is not active it means the upload error is caused by any other error on your system and i can not do anything to fix this.

Hi Rene, I installed the plugin yesterday and before that everything was running well, (I just received a new order from the website before the change) and I haven′t done anything else besides adding the plugin and running it… I uninstalled it in the plugin section in wordpress directly.

Do you know What could be the reason? I contacted my host for restoring a backup of the site (but not the database, as my host charges additionally) and it didnt change anything. Could you please help?

Do you think restoring the database might fix the problem? I would try if it might. Many thanks.

Restoring the database should be the last step you should do because your latest db changes will probably not included in the backup.

When did you uploaded the last time a image successfully? If this is a long time ago its highly likely that any other modification is causing this issue.

Ok I will keep that in mind to have the database restoring as the last option, I only made my own website so everytime when something comes up they are all new to me and from there I learn.
My last upload was 10 days ago, I will investigate more on what could the problem be, thank you for being supportive, its so important especially for amateur like me.

I found out that the issue I has was because my database has reached its limit, after cleaning the database I tried to clone the site again and it works great. Thank you Rene for the plugin and your kind help.
