We just got our WooCommerce/Zettle accounts linked. We haven’t had someone purchase using the POS system yet.

A very important part about our business is a proof of purchase for the user. When they purchase something through our website, we require them to fill out their Full name, address, phone, and email.

We’d like to get as much data like this, from Zettle, if possible.

What are our options to gather customer data if they are paying via Venmo, etc.?

Also, b/c it is integrated with woocommerce, will their purchase be tied to their email and provision a new users/customer account in Woocommerce, like it does when they purchase on our main website?

    Hello @jord8on

I think there might be a disconnect on what the plugin actually does. This plugin has been created to synchronize stock between the POS and the WooCommerce inventory.

Let me tell you what is currently being synced and how:
    – Product name – Only from WC to Zettle.
    – Product Price – Only from WC to Zettle.
    – Stock – synchronizes in both directions
    – SKU – Only from WC to Zettle.
    – Barcode – Only from WC to Zettle.

Then of course we also have the items that will synchronize from the variable products which are related to the same details + the variable attributes.

There are no order details synchronized at the time. We do have feature requests open to further develop our plugin with such features, but at this moment they are not included and we don’t have any timeline for the development of these features (pending approval & funding).

Please let me know if this answers your question or if you need additional support.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

This is great. Thanks for the quick response. We’ll just have to process a transaction and figure out our best workflow.

    Cheers!
