    The descriptions and the purpose is exactly what I was looking for in a Featured Image Plugin. If it would take a picture out of the content of my blog posts and stage it as the featured image; it would cut down on some of what I do to publish a post. Despite the fact that it was not tested on WP 4.9.6, I gave it a try.
    Let me know when you update it and it is functioning as you intended.
