GD bbPress Attachments not working for me

  • Having trouble getting this working for me on my site. and theme Attitude
    I can select an image file to upload and it shows as a tiny icon next to the Choose File button. There is no Upload button – should there be? And if I select Submit button nothing is uploaded.

    Have read the FAQ and can confirm:
    * Have tried disabling all plugins except BuddyPress, bbPress & GD bbPress Attachments – no better
    * That I can add the same attachment via the backend Edit Topic panel, and the image file then appears in the Media Library and is then shown on the topic, so media uploads are OK.

    Using BuddyPress 4.2.2. & bbPress 2.5.7

    Any help much appreciated.
