  • I test plugin in IE6, IE7, Chrome, Firefox2, Firefox3, Safari3, Opera9, Opera10 and it works in every one of them. In some rare cases beyond my control some WordPress themes can cause problems in displaying the rating block. I try to create robust css to prevent that and in 99% of the cases everything works fine. Use Firebug to see whay the stars are not showing or give me the url so I can check it out.

Never mind it works now I cleared my cookies. How do you make the stars go across. like this

food [starrater] value [starrater] service [starrater]

the stars are going down instead of across on my website. https://www.overfuel.com will this be fixed in the next version?

to be more specific I want the stars next to the text now underneath it.

Right now that can’t be done. But I plan to add settings to change the layout.

I have this problem. The stars only show in IE and not in Firefox. The text is there, not the graphics. This is a clean install, default skin, no other plug ins. I have had colleagues check the site, they have the same problem.

I repeat again, plugin works fine. If you have a problem, please describe it in more details. I test plugin on many configurations before releasing any version, and it all works. I use it on several sites myself and it works on many more without the problem.

Telling me that something doesn’t work is not helping. Also, many problems are already described on my official website in many tutorials with solutions to the problems.

Hi GDragoN, thanks for your response, but I cannnot really add any more detail.

Clean Install of WP, latest version
No other plug-ins installed – Not one
    Default WordPress Skin

The stars are absent when viewed with Firefox
the stars are absent when viewed with Firefox even when viewing in Safe-Mode

The stars can be seen when using IE.

What other details do you need? I’ll get them to you

Give me the url where the blog is, so I can take a look.

I have since added a new theme and I am building the site, but I will leave GD star activated so you can see the problem.

    Thanks very much

OK, I have found the problem. And just in time. New 1.3.1 will be released tonight and will contain fix.

    Thanx for reporting this.

Thanks very much. Your support for this product is excellent.

Hi the ratings show up great on the post now and in all browsers but I am still getting the Excerpt problem when my posts are on the front page the ratings don’t show. This is probably a template rather than plug in problem. Could you let me know exactly what I have to to to get the ratings to show on the front page.

Your theme (or some plugin) is broken, and GD Star Rating CSS and javascript are not loaded, and few other things are not loaded also. Archive links in header (not sure what added those) are invalid and they caused many other linked files to fail to load. This include main jQuery file (need by many things you are using on the website), GD Star Rating files, WP Polls files and ContactForm7 files. And because all of that you have a bunch of JavaScript errors.

When you fix theme or plugin causing the problem, everything will work fine.
