Regarding to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), could you please advise if:

    – Events Manager is setting cookies with personal information from visitors, like IP-address,…?

    – Is the plugin collecting, storing or sending personal information from visitors locally or externally?

  • Hello,

You could check out our Blog Post for GDPR here: https://wp-events-plugin.com/blog/2018/05/24/events-manager-gdpr-releases/

EM does save information’s of Booking Details like: Contact Number, Address, Names, Emails and save them on your Site Database. These are deleted when you delete the said Booking or Event.

    Thank you.

    Hi Timrv,

I just had a look at your demo site. I found a cookie consent banner there, but I am afraid, it is not compliant with the current regulation as you write the cookies before you have the consent of the user. Could you please tell me what cookies Events Manager writes and what they are used for? Thanks.

    Kind regards
    Thomas
