    Hey!

We’re going through all the plugins we use on our WordPress-site to check if they comply with the GDPR.
Is WP Blog and Widget collecting, saving or processing any data (like IP-addresses) from people who visit sites that use the Plugin?

    Best regards
    Sophie

    Hi,

    thanks for your feedback.
I just really need the information whether the Plugin collects any data. So if it doesn’t thats super!

The reason, why I need the info is the new European Privacy Law (https://www.eugdpr.org), because of which I need to make sure, that none of the Plugins we use collects personal data of any kind about our visitors. Because, by this law, every person in the EU has to agree actively to every form of data that is collected about them. So if a site collects personal data or sends it to any thrird party, for example, that is a problem. Personal data can be any data related to a person, like name, date of birth, e-mail, IP-adress…

I hope this made it more clear.

    Regards,
    Sophie
