GDPR compliance

Hi – I’ve read your April post about ShareThis and GDPR – https://www.sharethis.com/news/2018/04/how-to-leverage-gdpr-for-an-open-web/

With some time having passed between then and now, I was wondering if there had been any more clarity from ShareThis on GDPR compliance?

On top of that – near the end of the article you say: “We are actively reaching out to European publishers in our network to provide as much education and guidance as we can on managing user consent and GDPR compliance” –

We haven’t heard as yet, so would you mind publishing here what you’re telling the companies that you have contacted please. Important details seem to be missing – a couple of examples – How long data will be kept for and where (geo-wise) ShareThis is storing the data.
