Did you plan to upgrade before 25 may 2018 to fulfill GDPR tegulation??
In actual state is not possible keep using VFB after that date.
Main problem is that there not a way to let the user to revoke the consent and remove the stored data.
WP will add GDPR support on core did you plain make VFB compatibile??
Lovining VFB hope I can keep using in the future.
    Tyvm for your nice work.

  • Same problem here. I think, they will not change the Plugin, look here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/disable-storage-of-form-entries/

    Hello,

I am wondering why they should do this. It makes no difference if you keep stored the client data in the WP database or only the emails or their printouts. You anyway have do document it and the obligations to the customers are the same.

Let the programmers do their job in developing that great plugin and btw. they made a good proposual how to inform the customers about what is happening with their data. I have no idea why the plugin is not usable after the 25th of may?

The plugin is great, i agree. But it will be useless for me, even if you dont understand.
I am not interested in managing the same data in different places. And i have to, if the plugin stores data in the database. Why not make it possible, to chose if you wish to store it in the database, or do not store it, an only get an email.

Yes, the plugin is great, thats why i want to juse it in the future.

    Hello,

I understand you well as it is clear now, it’s your personal problem. I propose you ask the programmrs to modify it to your personal preferences and of course pay for it.
Your wishes are not of general need I would say.

I asked if its possible to change the plugin for the general need of me and EU users to fulfill the GDPR COMPLIANCE. Do you know, what the GDPR is? I do.

By the way: Asking questions is what this forum is about. Do you agree? Obviously not.

Surprise: Im not interested in your personal opinion, no one is. I will not answer you again, have a nice day.??

    Mattwag are you for real?
Why should you pay extra for making de plugin compliant to the GDPR?
    We bought the plugin already.
It is a simple question, and we need a simple answer.
Do they make the plugin GDPR Compliant?

    Hello,

    >> Mattwag are you for real?
yes I am, I am in Germany running a webshop

    >> Why should you pay extra for making de plugin compliant to the GDPR?
    >> We bought the plugin already.
The plugin was written in the USA and what some are asking here is a special request which not all users need

    >> It is a simple question, and we need a simple answer.
    >> Do they make the plugin GDPR Compliant?
Wasn’t it a simple answer the programmer gave you?

Please look at my first post, where I noted that what some are asking about a change does not effect the obligations by the GDPR. This law does not restrict the collection of data, it regulates the handling of them.
If you think I am wrong, please correct me. I am really open for any new informations.

    Best regards
    Matthias

The plugin need an “acceptance” feature much like contact form 7 has. Basically user has to tick that they agree to submit their data before actually doing so, In contact form 7 this acceptance feature has always been there, it will just be used more for GDPR. Can we have such a feature in this plugin please?

Why don’t you make an own required field for that? I did it that’s all

    Best regards
