GDPR compliance and this plugin

Any general tips on how the new regulations are being integrated into this plugin and how to get it to do what is necessary to comply.

Also I can’t get double opt in to work… we don’t actually have a CRM or email marketing system yet so we are not yet getting in touch with people who do subscribe but double opt in is not working anyway…
