    Hello,
    I’ve heard different opinions on how to handle Contact Form 7 (or contact forms in general) in terms of the GDPR.
    Recently I listened to a podcast of a german lawyer that said that it is not necessary to get an explicit consent in a contact form, because the user knows that he sends his email address in expectation of an answer. No user would ever expect his email not to be stored somewhere if he sends a contact request.

    How do you handle this?
