    Thanks for trying out Post Notif!

    I do not have any specific plans for GDPR compliance, as I am not clear on how Post Notif is presently non-compliant. As I understand it, you must not retain users’ personal data without them opting in, and then you must provide them with a means for removing it from your system. Both of these are in place in Post Notif presently. The first is via the requirement that a subscriber confirm their subscription before they are sent any post notifications (though this can be overridden by the site’s admin, which admins in EU countries would want to avoid doing). The second is addressed by the fact that each notification email contains an unsubscribe link, which, if clicked, completely removes all traces of the subscriber’s personal data from the system.

    I may be missing something, and if so, please do let me know, and I’ll look into addressing it.
