At the moment, the forms are not GDPR compliant. Will there be an update soon to make the forms compliant?
To be fully compliant, more tools are necessary to be able to delete all personal information of a user should they ask to be forgotten or to give them a complete picture of all the personal information we collected from them.
I guess this will take more time to implement, but at least the forms should be compliant when GDPR takes effect on May 25th.

I’d like to update here in case others stumble upon this. We’re likely to release an update later today.

I realise it’s cutting it pretty close, but as it’s now taking its final shape the work involved to get ‘compliant’ will likely be minimal. We’ll be hooking into WP’s export/erasure tools and insert checkboxes to the booking/event forms automatically

The main bit of work is just revising your privacy policy which we’ll already generated text for if you’ve not created one yet. If you already have a policy, we’ll also add a sample of text on our release blog post.
