• Hey guys, I guess the GDPR update in fact doesn’t make the AMP site GDPR compliant because it is not storing user’s consent. So in case someone has a compliant, we are unable to prove if she agreed to the GDPR popup or not.

    Hello @hvizdal

Can you please how you are telling that the AMP site is not GDPR compliant?

Can you please tell me what is the mean of “it’s not storing user’s consent” so I can understand it better and will provide a solution for it.

hey, if the visitors agrees and the codes starts storing cookies in her browser, in case that she starts a compliant, there must be a way to prove that the person indeed agreed. In other words we have to keep a record of when and how we got consent from the individual.

Indeed @hvizdal. According to the documentation of GDPR, you have to keep the record of every consent provided by the user.

@ampforwp Personally, do you think this is really necessary? I mean if someone raises a complain then how we are supposed to identify the user from a large list of consent as he/she is not already registered on our blog/site.

Looking forward to an awesome reply. Thank You!
