Is Yoast GDPR compliant – https://www.eugdpr.org/
On 25 Mai 2018 all service providers and website owners whose websites are visible in EU (more or less all who have a website) are required to fulfill all GDPR requirements which are the strongest ever seen with huge fines!
As SEO plugins send data forth and back from users and site visitors and uses those data further very often the question is how far Yoast Plugins and Extensions and all its Extensions are compliant with GDPR – As far as I could see there is no extra warning for users right now and also no way to disable the sending of data to external servers outside of the own server.
Concerning sending data to external sites also the compliance i.e. with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield framework would be important especially if data gets send to the US at any time i.e. to cloudflare, amazon services etc.

    Is that plugin certificed?

All our plugins do not collect any personal data that affect the GDPR regulations. We only collect information regarding your sites environment, PHP version, and installed plugins.
