Dear Community,

I use the “Ultimate Member” plugin in the current WordPress instance.
Now I would like to include a spam protection.
For data protection reasons, however, we are not allowed to use Google Recaptcha.

As an alternative, we are therefore currently trying hCaptcha, which, as it just turned out, is not supported:

As with CF7, are there other spam protection options such as a quiz? (What is 2 + 1) or something similar that can be realized?

Unfortunately, we only have the ReCaptcha extension: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/um-recaptcha/

I hope someone has done something similar to quiz and shares the solution here.

I downloaded the code and included it in the functions.php. Where exactly can I find the AdminPage for this? Didn’t fully understand this point in the readme.

We have just discovered that there is an integrated “Honeypot” feature under the “Login” point on the features List.
That’s great! Does this also apply to the registration forms and others?

The login forms automatically come with triple anti-spam protection which includes: a hidden honeypot field, time delay on submit button and WordPress nonces.

My code is sharing Admin page with the hCaptcha plugin
so installation of this plugin is required.

These four values in your hCaptcha plugin admin page are shared by my code:

hCaptcha Site Key
hCaptcha Secret Key
hCaptcha Theme
hCaptcha Size

No other configuration is required.

You can inactivate the hCaptcha plugin after setting these four values
but keep the plugin for later updates of any of the four values.

Also you keep the plugin installed inactive if you use any local language.

Thanks @missveronicatv for the support.
I’ll go through the recommendation above again. I currently deactivated it because otherwise I would no longer be able to log in to Ultimate Member. I guess I haven’t configured something correctly yet.
