    Hi,
I didn’t find a topic like mine so I write to ask your support.
I added the site logo in the branding section of the plugin and I can see it in the banner on the site; the problem is that sometimes when I need to link the site somewhere, the image displayed in the link is the GDPR logo, not mine. And instead of the site snippet I added in the homepage with Yoast SEO plugin what appears is the text of the cookie banner.
    How can I fix that?

    Hi @chiara239,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

It seems a caching issue to me, please ensure you have purged all the caches on your site and try again.

If you need more help, please provide us a site URL to start a short investigation about the issue.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately nothing changes even cleaning another time the cache. This is the URL: scoprireinviaggio.com.

    Hi @chiara239,

Thanks for the URL, please see the image below, in our end the site logo is loaded by the plugin.
Please try to clear you cache in your browser or open the site in an incognito window.

Yes, the logo is displayed in the plugin, but that’s what I see if I insert the link of the home of my site in a social platform: https://ibb.co/rbMhZMy
There are the logo of GDPR and the text of the cookie banner instead of a preview of the home (or at least the logo of the site) and some text. But maybe the problem is that on the home I have mostly posts and in the review they cannot be displayed…

    Hi @chiara239,

    Thanks for the screenshot.
If the social platforms detects the old GDPR logo the problem is coming from their cache. You can install the SEO Yoast plugin, setup the plugin properly, change the thumbnail for your homepage (by adding a featured image). In this case the social platforms will use your company logo or the thumbnail from post / page.
Sometimes you have to purge the cache on the social platforms as well:

The issue is not related to GDPR plugin, it’s an SEO / caching issue.

    Hope this helps.
