• Good Morning,

    Just updated to WordPress 4.9.6.

One thing I have noticed is that on the registration page, all you can do is put a link to your privacy policy page at the bottom.

My understanding with the GDPR, is that users would need to tick a box to confirm that they accept privacy policy as well as terms and conditions.

Is there a way with this latest version of WordPress to add a couple of checkbox for users to tick to confirm they accept privacy policy & terms and conditions?

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew

  • Yeah, I’d love to see this implemented into WP core too.

I’d like to place a tick box, to allow people to consent to the privacy policy and join my email list.

If this isn’t currently planned, does anyone know of the best terms of service plugin to achieve this. I’ve had a quick look, but many seem pretty old and possibly abandoned now.

    Thanks.

Surely if 4.9.6 is supposed to be GDPR compliant, it must have a cookie notice and a way to ask users to consent to the privacy policy. Or do we need to also get a dedicated plugin to do this?

I would also like to see a tick box at checkout on Woocommerce as well as the existing Terms ans Conditons tick box.

This plugin is brilliant for achieving consent tick boxes and lots more.

Tried it today, all seems very solid and well supported.

Thanks. I will check it out and see if it will work with Woocommerce.
