The possibility of using Google Fonts is a great feature in Ghost Kit.

But the fonts are fetched from a google server on page creation.

And that results in big legal problems with GDPR in Europe, because the server connection transfers user IP address to Google server.

The only legal option is to serve Google Fonts from own webserver (downloaded from Google once when editing the website).

So, please, add an option to “localize” used Google Fonts (like many other Themes and Plugins had included now).

    Hi,

Thank you for the info. We have a task with a low priority to make the Google Fonts offload feature.

For now, in the Pro plugin, you can upload custom fonts manually, it will be stored on your server.

    Regards,
    Nikita.
