Hello and thanks for the great plugin!

It looks like there is a situation that isn’t treated by this plugin and that is when someone requires data to be removed as a consequence of GDPR. This kind of requests are done with requests that look like this:

    https://www.example.com/wp-login.php?action=confirmation&request_id=numeric_id0&confirm_key=some_random_key_goes_here

Would it be possible to somehow let these requests pass through and maybe have some sort of option to set a confirmation page for the requester where the requester would be then redirected to? Not sure if there could be other ways to achieve this without revealing the hidden login URL.

    Thanks,
    Pedro

    Hello,

Excuse me for this late response, I just got back from vacation.

    Which plugin do you use?

From which URL do you call this request for data deletion?

    Hi @nicolaskulka,

Actually, this is the standard WordPress interface, no plugin or nothing else. The process is like this:

    1. A visitor requests the removal of personal data (usually by e-mail).
    2. You go to wp-admin and make a manual request for removal from a page like this:

    https://www.example.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=remove_personal_data

There’s a box where you can put an e-mail address, which then triggers an e-mail that contains a link with the format I mentioned in my first message. When clicking that message you end up in a 404.

Please let me know if you need further details about this.

    Thanks,
    Pedro

    Hi again @nicolaskulka,

Do you have any thoughts about this?

    Thank you,

    Hello @nicolaskulka,

Can you please tell me if there’s any way to adjust the plugin so that the core WP functionality regarding privacy will work?

    Thank you,
    Pedro
