    Hi

I’m trying to import a .GED file. However, it is never importing any persons or structures despite MacFamilyTree creates the full genealogical tree from the same GED file. Is there anything broken with the GED file?

Thanks a lot for your help!

@ninogenealogy Sorry for late, can you please share your site info through email [email protected], so i can check that.

I had the same problem. Try changing the line feed format option on the Gedcom export in MacFamilyTree to “Windows”. I actually created a new Windows text file and copied and pasted the data and saved it as a new file.

@phurwood Amazing, thanks a lot for the trick – it worked ??

@akdevs Thanks a lot for your fast answer! It resolved in the meantime with the above trick ?? It seems that your plugin has issues with different forms of line break definitions.

Anyways, thanks again to both of you ??
