Gedwongen aankoop support: Trailware

    Dit is los van erg irritant, ook een verplichte optie zo geworden. Daarmee is dit feitelijk trailwareplug-in geworden welke niet thuis hoort in de WordPress lijst.

    Ik heb geen support bij deze plug-in nodig, hij werkt perfect. Dus waarom is er deze gedwongen koppelverkoop? Ik zelf zie het als Trailware.. en laat dat nu net niet zijn toegestaan bij WordPress !!!!

    Trialware is not permitted.
    Plugins may not contain functionality that is restricted or locked, only to be made available by payment or upgrade. They may not disable included functionality after a trial period or quota. Paid functionality in services _is_ permitted (see guideline 6: serviceware), provided all the code inside a plugin is fully available.

    We recommend the use of add-on plugins, hosted outside of www.ads-software.com, in order to exclude the premium code. Attempting to upsell the user on other products and features is acceptable within limits of guideline 11 (don’t hijack the admin); they should not be overly prominent or annoying to users.

    Thank you for your feedback. All the code in the plugin is fully available, so it’s definitely not trialware. Continuous maintenance and development of the plugin requires a lot of time and the high quality of this plugin is thanks to the paying customers. That is why the notice is displayed. Without paying customers, this plugin would probably not exist anymore and you wouldn’t be able to benefit from the investments of others. So, while we understand your concerns, it’s the only way we can offer this plugin at this time.
