    I don’t know what you mean with “sync everything” or “general error”.

    What version of MailChimp for WordPress are you using?
    What are your current settings?
    Where can we test the form?
    What is the exact error message you run into?
    How can we reproduce the problem?

    thanks Lap, I just figured it. I used a test email address [email protected] as I didn’t want to subscribe myself

    I have now tested using my actual email address and it worked well.
