General HTTP Error for sitemap on search console

    Hi there we get a general HTTP Error when trying to upload our sitemaps on search console. We tried several methods suggested already on support like regenerating permalinks, excluding sitemaps from lite speed etc. but no luck here.

    Its the first time we face such an issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you for contacting the support.

    We can check that your sitemap is working fine. Please remove all previously submitted sitemaps from your GSC accont and resubmit your main sitemap (sitemap_index.xml).

    The issue should be resolved once Google recrawls it.

    We are glad that your issue is resolved.

    It isn’t possible to edit or remove the link from our end. Only WP moderators can do that. However, they won’t do it unless it’s a legal or security issue.

    Rest assured, since your URL is listed in the custom field from your post, only logged-in users can see it, and it is not possible for search engines to scrape it.
