• This is embarrassing! I’m new to Activity Log, but not to WordPress. I just installed the Activity Log plugin on a staging site. I’ve activated it. I’m trying to create Notification Events, but when I go to Activity Log -> Settings I do not see the tabs General & Notifications. I am only offered a page that allows me to change the log number of days and Delete the log activities.

    Thank you in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

This feature (the Notification Feature) is unstable so in the last version we deprecated this feature from sites that have not used the feature so far.

    Thanks for your feedback!

(IMHO) I respectfully suggest that the promotion of the Notification Feature be removed from the features list (or at least a comment added noting it currently is not going to show up on a new install.) Stats show that ~ 4k/week are downloading this plugin (this would be 40k since Ariel posted this comment) and so a large number (if not nearly all) are wasting time looking for this tab. Just saying…
