General plugin issue: deleted plugin comes back by itself

  • Actually 2 wired problem.

    1. On “Installed Plugins” page, click on “View Details” link brings up only a dark greyed out overlay, no popup showing details.

    2. Can’t deactivate some plugin, for example: Contact Form 7. Manual delete the plugin using FTP won’t work.

    After manual deletion of the plugin, any reload of the website or admin page will bring the plugin back, just an older version.

    I have never seen this before. Any help? Thanks

    Okay. Got it sorted out. It is a theme issue. Disable the theme, problems are gone.

    Aegon is the name if you have similar issue.
