General questions about DearFlip

    Hello,

    I’d like to have some answers about your paid version of DearFlip for WordPress :

    • Can it be read on iPhone on single page view ? Most of the time readers display 2 pages side by side which is very difficult to read on iPhone…
    • When the PDF is loading, is the first page loading quickly ? I mean can we start reading something even if the eBook isn’t totally loaded on the page ? We’re concerned about performance…
    • Is there a way to perform some text search inside the PDF ? Also I’m planning to use a plugin like WPSearch or Relevansi : will it be working with your plugin ?
    • Last question : with most PDF readers, when you’re reading on iPhone or tablet, you can do “select all” and then “copy / paste” the PDF content. Is it something that can be done if using your plugin ? Because we’re very concerned with content protection.

    Hi,

    1. By default in phones, single page mode is used; unless you specify in the settings.
    2. Yes, if your server supports partial loading it will load first part of pdf and it should work. This is the ecommend way
    3. Text search is not available.
    4. Copy pasting text is not possible, but screenshots are not preventable.
