specific google analytics “view” is not showing up in general setting

    We have multi subsites, example.com/history or example.com/literature and we have set up separate google analytics “views” for history and literature under one property.

    Problems
    I don’t see all the views I set it up in “General settings” -> “select view”

    Questions
    How can I set the specific google analytics view, “history” for example.com/history? I don’t see the view “history” from dropdown list of “select view” in “general settings”.

    I appreciate any help you can give.

  • Hi,

    If the views are newly created you’ll need to force a list refresh by clearing the authorization and reauthorize. For details see How do I refresh/update the Select View list?.

    In case you’ve already had them setup, you’ll need to give some easily to identify names to those views and follow the procedure above to refresh the views list.

    The problem is that “clear authorization” is disabled in setting for me and I cannot click the “clear authorization” button.

    Can you help how I can enable button, “clear authorization”?

    I figured out from your documentation. The answer was in general settings in network admin for multisite. Great plugin. thanks so much!!

    “How do I refresh/update the Select View list?
    For security reasons the auto-update of this list is disabled for single sites. If multisite is enabled you can refresh the list using the Refresh Properties button from General Settings screen of your network admin area.
