Generally works, but buggy and unreliable

  • We are using the pro version or whatever the paid version is called. It generally does what is advertised, but there are a lot of smaller issues. For example, the folder list is not sorted alphabetically, as you would expect. Folder just appear where you happened to add them. The gallery blog is super buggy. When selecting a folder that should appear as gallery, the plugin adds all the photos of your site to the gallery and is not restricting itself to the folder you selected (I don’t want to imagine the poor guy who tries that on a site that has 10.000 images). There are other smaller issues like drag & drop not always working consistently or the plugin sometimes showing images in a folder that belong to a different folder. These are all minor annoyances of a product that seems to be still in beta. We will keep using it nonetheless, as it is super helpful – when it works.

    Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it. And let me explain:

    1. We working on sort folders alphabetically feature.
    2. When selecting a folder it should display images in that folder only.
    3. Drag & drop not always working consistently or the plugin sometimes showing images in a folder that belong to a different folder.
