    Hey Guys,

Is this plugin, or any plugin for that matter – able to automate the creation process of a live band page (actually technically a post in my case) on my website? I run this small live bands booking agency, where I have this page (below) that is a SIGN-UP page for new bands who want us to represent them:

    https://thelivemusicagency.affordaband.co.uk/new-bands-sign-up-form/

As you can see, they can input all their private information, and also their band information to send to me when they click “SUBMIT”, so I can then build a band page for them, but also store their private contact details on a file somewhere (not sure where – a database perhaps??), so I can retreive their details and call or email them later, if someone wants to hire them. Regarding these two points, can you tell me how I can automate the process for :

generating a new band page (based on this current band page as a template: https://thelivemusicagency.affordaband.co.uk/anthems-live-band/) with all their photos, mp3 songs, biography information, videos etc that can upload to the site for them that looks the same layout as the other band pages, and:

store their private contact details automatically somewhere also?

I’d really appreciate your expert help on this – I can’t work it out..! Can your plugin do either of these?

    Kindest Regards,
    Stu

I know that automation of this stuff can be generally all handled the way you’re thinking and wanting, but not with CPTUI alone. We just handle the registering of the content types, we don’t handle anything with the creation of content within the content types or what is done with that content afterwards.

You would need to either switch out the form for something else where you could control where the submitted data goes, or amend the current one as best possible to send that information where you want, and then also figure out how to publicly display the parts you want, and keep private the parts you don’t want shown to the public.

Thanks Michael.. yes, I figured all that out generally, but I’m not clever enough to work out the specifics of which plugins suit the task etc, or how to do it. I’ve wasted a month on this now – what an awful waste of time it’s been.. and I’m still no closer to a start even now! Thanks anyway.

Wish we could be of bigger help, but CPTUI would just be one piece in a potential overall solution.

Understood.. thanks mate for the replies. Will try for an all-in-one solution then come back to this one if needed.
