  • Hey there, @belleo! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

As I understand you want to know if it is possible to have an order via WooCommerce but have the payment in person, via Square, correct?

If this is correct, this feature is available in the U.S, Canada, Australia, Japan, UK, France, Spain, Ireland ??

If this is not what you meant, do you mind sharing more details about your goal so we can assist you further?

    Have a wonderful day!

Hello! Yes that is correct. We want to create the order in our Woocommerce backend for our bric and mortar store and the order is pushed into Square to collect payment via the Square POS hardware.

If this option is available, what are the steps to process this type of transaction. Thanks again for your assistance.

    Hi @belleo

We want to create the order in our Woocommerce backend for our bric and mortar store and the order is pushed into Square to collect payment via the Square POS hardware.

Unfortunately, the WooCommerce Square plugin doesn’t work that way. It doesn’t currently have the capability to sync or push orders to Square. However, you can still use Square as a payment method on your website to collect payments.

You can sync your stock and product between WooCommerce and Square as a workaround. Also, if you want to record sales generated on Square, feel free to create and mark them as completed in WooCommerce manually.

I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this provides some clarity. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
